After far too many years away....... molotov (formerly known as molotov u.s.k.) has rekindled its flame with two amazing yet bittersweet shows in Toyohashi's House of Crazy & Nagoya's GC Live.
Bittersweet? Yes... Both shows were to send off lead guitarist David Leonard. Unfortunately, Dave moved his family back to the States and is doing what he does best in the Baaackyaaard. Enters new members Mike Bagley-Drums (former drummer of popular Nagoya based band- The Sushi Cabaret Club & and the power punk trio -The Ghost of Matsubara) and Luke Stoltenberg-lead guitar (creator of Nagoya local band- Shibata Heavy Industries).
New members, new songs and new sounds.
Founding members Pete Lyons-lead vocal & guitar and Rob McKay on bass are having a blast writing new songs with this new and explosive sound that Luke & Mike bring to the band room. Don't worry fans!! molotov still plays all the best songs from years past. With a mix of old and new plus a few selective cover songs, molotov is here, ready to blow the roof off every gig they play.
