Cheers Yokohama!

On Friday afternoon Pete, Mike and I headed off in Rob's shaggin' wagon for the port of Yokohama. Rob followed shortly behind on the Shinkansen. It was a beautiful day for a drive with the sun out and the Mt Fuji by one side and the sea view by the other. We kept ourselves nourished along the way with free food samples from the roadside rest areas.
Our second gig in our current form went down really well with the punters, and the other bands were great too. Kinlay had their genki gaijin thing going on and Xandra Corpora band wailed as always, while the other band Rob and I were referring to as 'the J-pop Slipknot' had some really cool arty thing going down. Hopefully we made a couple of fans that night. Just think - if we can make 2 fans per gig, we only need to do 500, 000 shows to get a million followers!
Yokohama is a beautiful city and we stayed in Chinatown with all its delicious smells and colourful streets. The venue was across from the Baystars stadium with all the atmosphere in the area of a game going on at the same time.
Next up is KJs in Gifu this Saturday the 3rd of September. Really looking forward to lifting the roof off of Yanagase mall in Gifu city. Following that we'll be hitting up Rock City Toyohashi with Xandra Corpora Band on Saturday the 10th of September, proceeded by rocking out with our golden grampuses out in Nagoya on the 24th of September at GC Live in Shin-Sakae. We'll also be playing in Tokyo on October 22nd at What the Dickens in Ebisu. Also keep your ears peeled for our new single Who Is Real? which we are busy recording at the moment. You can hear it live at one of our shows right now. We'd love to have you along.
